Are you ready to take your procurement career to the next level? Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Buyer to join their forward-thinking team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies that drive year-on-year productivity savings and operational excellence.
Your new role
1. Working with senior stakeholders, you will lead category management and supplier relationship management to deliver and implement key strategies.
2. Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities.
3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to securepetitive agreements.
4. Lead on identifying, evaluating new suppliers, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders and global teams, leveraging buying power.
6. Manage the full procurement lifecycle, ensuringpliance and mitigating sourcing risks.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Proven experience in category management and supplier negotiations.
8. Experience within aplex environment such as manufacturing or engineering.
9. Excellentmunicator and relationship builder,fortable influencing at all levels.
10. CIPS qualification or working towards is a plus.
11. Experience in contract drafting and a strong understanding of procurement best practices.
