Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team in Bristol. As an Associate Financial Planning Bestinvest Coach & Team Leader, you will support both existing and prospective clients, educate them on key concepts such as goal setting, account structure, taxation, risk and investment choices, and identify opportunities to refer clients who need deeper, more detailed support to our financial‑planning and investment‑management colleagues.
Responsibilities
Coaching Responsibilities
* Contact referred clients/prospects within agreed Service Level Agreement to arrange suitable appointments.
* Coach both existing and prospective clients on a wide range of financial planning and investment topics, ensuring all relevant Continuing Professional Development is completed.
Team Head Responsibilities
* Line‑manage coaching team members, complete mid‑year and year‑end appraisals, and monitor coaches’ KPIs.
* Manage the team’s management information for reporting.
T&C Supervisor Responsibilities
* Lead the four‑week training programme for new joiners, ensuring all mandatory learning is completed on time, and provide monthly call observations and feedback.
* Ensure CPD remains on track and audit at year end.
Qualifications & Skills
* Level 4 Diploma qualified (Dip PFS) or equivalent.
* Ability to operate in a client‑facing role, gathering soft and hard facts through open and closed questions whilst remaining personable.
* Technical knowledge and ability to communicate a wide range of holistic financial planning topics.
* Versatility to adapt communication style for different client types, from beginners to sophisticated investors.
* Ability to build internal relationships and create a network of contacts for collaborative client experience.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, alongside empathy, problem‑solving and integrity.
