This placement is based at our office in Tamworth (B79) The Care Co-ordinator is responsible for the continuity of care for all our customers. This vital role has a huge impact on the lives of many people who rely on our care and support as an alternative to residential care homes. If you want to join a dynamic team making a positive difference to our customers’ lives, then this could be the role for you As a Care Coordinator you will get: A competitive salary dependent on experience Opportunities to progress and receive dedicated training towards your career in care To work with a dedicated team that is passionate about the Healthcare industry The Care Co-ordinator will be responsible for: Allocating care assistants with the right skills and experience to deliver the best quality care and support to each customer Organising care assistant’s rotas to minimise changes to the service and travel between customer’s homes Maintaining continuity for the delivery of care to our customers Responding efficiently to day-to-day changes in the care and support packages Covering visits when they are unable to be covered by the field team Providing excellent customer service Building excellent relationships with our current care assistants Assisting with recruitment or general office tasks as required The role offers the opportunity for developing positive working relationships with customers, their families, and the Bluebird Care team. You will provide a crucial link between each customer and their Care Assistant. The successful candidate will: Have experience within Domiciliary Care Have previous experience as a Care Coordinator Hold a current UK driving licence and have their own vehicle Have excellent planning, organisation, and IT skills Be a confident problem solver Be able to work clearly and effectively under pressure Have a sensitive and supportive telephone manner Be sensitive to the needs of our customers Care Assistants work over the weekend or evenings so the post holder must be willing to be part of the on-call emergency team rota for evenings and weekends; However regular office hours are 8:30am-5PM Monday to Friday.
