Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time (Long-Term or Permanent)
Pay: £150–£230 per day (depending on experience)

We’re working with a dynamic secondary school in Newcastle looking for an inspiring PE Teacher who can lead engaging, inclusive sessions and bring energy into every part of the school day.
Whether you’re coaching a Year 11 football final or helping Year 7s find their confidence in the gym, you’ll be supported by a great department, clear curriculum, and leadership team that backs you.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience welcomed but not essential)
2. Planning inclusive, motivating lessons for all abilities
3. Leading extra-curricular clubs, fixtures, and sports days
4. Promoting physical health, teamwork, and resilience across the school

What we’re looking for:
5. UK QTS or equivalent secondary PE qualification
6. Experience delivering PE lessons and sports coaching in schools
7. A proactive approach and a love of all things sport
8. Confidence managing classes and engaging reluctant learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
