As a Minimum, You Will Have
* Hold professional finance qualification
* A minimum of 5–10 years PQE
* Strong technical expertise (UK GAAP, tax)
* Proactive and capable people leader with track record of leading and developing teams
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
* E‑commerce experience
* Understanding of Netsuite
* Experience in leading a team
* Inquisitive mindset
* Ability to think laterally in order to problem solve
* Detail‑oriented with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Comfortable working with large quantities of raw transactional data
* Energy and ambition to make a difference to a business going through an exciting period of change and growth
* Adaptable and flexible in a fast‑paced, agile, scale‑up environment

Job Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the finance team, driving continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and governance
* Oversee the preparation and sign‑off of the monthly management accounts and associated reporting, ensuring accuracy, integrity of numbers, timely delivery, and insightful commentary.
* Own UK/US taxation (Direct & Indirect, R&D etc) processes, reporting and governance
* Lead relationship between operations & finance teams, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve process and drive synergies between teams
* Partner closely with Commercial Finance on budgeting, forecasting and cross‑functional projects
* Lead Financial oversight of new company initiatives
* Support international expansion, providing assurance on all tax and accounting implications.
* Responsible for relationships with external auditors and advisors across tax and valuation services, with day‑to‑day relationships managed by the Senior Finance Reporting Manager.
* Lead the insurance relationship; both annual renewal and any amendments in year
* Process the monthly payroll, PAYE and pension in conjunction with the People team
* Treasury Management; managing deposit & current accounts, ensure compliance with treasury policy
* Oversee cash flow forecasting, coordinating inputs from Accounts Payable and Commercial Finance.
* Review and approve ESOP
* Support CFO/Wider team as required

This opportunity is a hybrid role, where attendance is required in the central London office 3 days per week.
