We're seeking a Robotics Engineer to join a leading UK-based automation solutions provider, known for delivering cutting-edge robotic systems across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and general manufacturing.
The Role
As a Robotics Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design, build, programming, and integration of advanced robotic systems. Working as part of a dynamic engineering team, you'll help deliver bespoke and standard automation projects, from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and configure industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, ABB, Fanuc) for welding, handling, and assembly applications
Support system integration, including mechanical setup, electrical I/O configuration, and safety validation
Carry out on-site commissioning and testing of robotic automation cells
Collaborate with design, electrical, and software teams to deliver high-quality turnkey solutions
Provide technical support and training to customers post-installation
Assist with R&D, prototyping, and continuous improvement of automation products About You:
Proven experience with industrial robotics (ideally KUKA, ABB, or Fanuc)
Strong understanding of PLC systems, motion control, and safety systems
Comfortable reading technical drawings and integrating robotic systems into manufacturing processes
Able to travel occasionally for site commissioning (UK & internationally)
