We're now looking for a UK Planner!
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Produce Strategic / Tactical plans through routing systems ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
* Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
* Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
* Investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner
* Tactical planning & operational experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea)
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Strong and effective organising, planning and process work methods
* Previous Planning Experience is Essential
* Knowledge of DHL systems would be beneficial specifically Paragon
* A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
