Oracle ERP Cloud Project Manager
As a Project Manager at Version 1, you will lead the delivery of Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, and EPM projects across the UK and Ireland, ensuring timely, on‑budget completion while managing scope, risk, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
* Successfully manage the delivery of Version 1’s Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM projects.
* Work with the customer to confirm scope, objectives, business justification and secure resources (people and budget).
* Lead and oversee the progress of project plans in line with time, cost and quality targets.
* Manage customer expectations and closely monitor and control scope creep.
* Coordinate change requests, ensuring clear identification, agreement and sign‑off before work commences.
* Assist the customer project manager with monitoring tasks and progress of customer‑specific activities.
* Control and report progress to the steering group/sponsor and internal senior stakeholders, escalating any issues.
* Continually assess potential risks and issues.
* Monitor and communicate decisions made by the customer.
* Closely monitor and report on project budget and ownership for P&L targets against your projects.
* Lead an effective communication strategy for the project.
* Identify inter‑dependencies between stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
* Ensure appropriately skilled resources deliver the project and manage the availability and performance of consultants.
* Travel to customer sites as required and permitted.
* Assist in pre‑sales and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
* Experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud projects end to end.
* Delivery and implementation experience for a consultancy or systems integrator.
* Ability to lead and deliver multiple projects concurrently.
* Project Management experience using Oracle AIM and OUM methods.
* PRINCE2 or similar certification.
* Experience with Microsoft Project.
* Fixed‑price/budget, commercial and customer experience.
* Governance (Gate Control, Status Reporting).
* Scope management expertise.
* Stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills across all levels.
