Job Description
The opportunity at UAL is to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to support a capital and maintenance project delivery portfolio within the Estates Development team. UAL aims to deliver a programme of estate transformation, campus development, and ongoing maintenance to ensure the estate remains fit for purpose, sustainable, and world-class.
Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of capital and maintenance projects across the University’s estate. You will assist with planning, coordination, and administration of a wide range of estates projects, including refurbishment, fitout, and maintenance schemes, with opportunities to personally lead and manage smaller-scale estates projects.

About You
We are seeking a motivated individual with construction project management knowledge who is looking to develop their career in a project management role. You have gained formative experience in the construction and property industry in a building surveying, quantity surveying, design, engineering or construction project management role and are familiar with project management methodologies such as the RIBA Plan of Work. Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of motivation are essential to be successful in this role.
