Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, Monday - Friday, 4 pm - 7 pm. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a Primary School in Crawley. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming. Duties
* Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
* Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and other bathroom facilities to high standards
* Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly
* Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
* Maintain the cleanliness of communal areas, toilets, classrooms and offices.
* Use commercial cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Skills
* Proven experience in commercial cleaning work is essential
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
* Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
