An exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer has arisen to join a growing consultancy in their Derby office.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design, analysis, and delivery of cutting-edge structural projects. You will lead teams, provide technical expertise, and collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Perform structural analysis and design for building projects, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
* Develop detailed design drawings and calculations, ensuring safety, feasibility, and efficiency
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality results
* Conduct site visits to assess the structural progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
Requirements
* BEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
* Minimum of 6 years design experience
* Experience working towards British standards on Eurocodes
* Experience working with all major materials including concrete, steel, masonry and timber
* Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
