We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to inspire and nurture a love of music in students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ musical skills, creativity, and confidence across a range of styles and instruments. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Music Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons to pupils across relevant key stages.
* Teach practical and theoretical aspects of music, including performance, composition, and appreciation.
* Organise and lead extra-curricular activities such as choir, orchestra, or music clubs.
* Prepare pupils for performances, concerts, and external examinations where appropriate.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Contribute to school events and productions, working collaboratively with staff and the wider community.
* Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing feedback to support their musical development.
Ideal Music Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for music.
* Ability to teach a range of musical instruments and styles.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Music Teacher.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
