Job Responsibility:
Working Full Time: 37.5 Hours Per Week. We are looking for two enthusiastic and experienced individuals to support the Echo Service at The Countess of Chester Hospital, undertaking routine, complex, and specialised procedures, including accurate reporting to support clinical decisions.
The successful applicant will work as part of a team, reporting to the clinical lead, and will provide supervision, training, and support for more junior staff. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of the wider Cardiology service at The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing a diagnostic Cardiac Service, including undertaking routine, complex, and specialized procedures, as well as completing reports.
* Providing supervision, training, and support to more junior staff and training for staff from other disciplines.
* Continuing own professional development to facilitate and progress in the extensive range of tests performed to enable service development.
* Ensuring excellent communication skills and working well within a team and on your own initiative.
* Ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements.
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and to Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.
