Role Overview
A leading main contractor is seeking a Design Manager in Bristol to join the delivery of a major £120m landmark manufacturing and technology facility. The role is a career‑defining opportunity to work on a complex, multidisciplinary project in a secure manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate design across major technical, structural and MEP packages
* Oversee the design process from pre‑construction through delivery
* Work closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants and specialist suppliers
* Manage design information flow and ensure accuracy, compliance and buildability
* Drive value engineering, risk management and design reviews
