Role Description
This is a full-time, on‑site role based in Rochdale for Van/HGV Technicians. The primary responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and repairing MAN and other commercial vehicles to the highest standards, utilising diagnostic tools and genuine parts. The role also involves completing safety inspections, carrying out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protocols. You will work closely with the maintenance team to deliver exceptional service to a diverse range of clients while maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
* Strong technical skills in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of vans and HGVs
* Ability to conduct safety inspections, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot vehicle systems
* Experience with genuine parts and working on MAN vehicles is highly desirable
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and environmental compliance
* Excellent organisational and documentation skills for maintaining accurate service records
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are preferred
* Prior experience in commercial vehicle maintenance is an advantage
