Job Description:
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at B&Q. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and store property, while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor store activities to prevent theft, loss, and damage
2. Provide a visible security presence within the store
3. Conduct regular patrols and ensure store policies are followed
4. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns promptly
5. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
6. Work closely with store management and staff
7. Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
8. Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
9. Previous retail security experience preferred
10. Strong communication and customer service skills
11. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
12. Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
