Temporary contract for 2 years. Hybrid working. 37 hours per week. Salary £39,862 - £42,839 per annum.

We are looking for a Programmes & Transformation Officer to support the delivery of key programmes and projects, especially those linked to Local Government Reorganisation.


Key Responsibilities

* Support the delivery of transformation programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
* Develop and improve PMO templates, tools, and methodologies.
* Ensure programmes are delivered to scope, time, cost, and quality.
* Facilitate change and transformation initiatives, and promote PMO maturity and best practices across the council.
* Provide analytical expertise, utilising digital platforms such as Power BI to inform decision‑making.
* Support regular reporting, develop programme dashboards, and facilitate improvement reviews. Foster a culture of critical evaluation, continuous improvement, and learning.
* Support statutory reporting and consultation processes, ensuring compliance and transparency.
* Support the council’s governance framework and facilitate effective decision‑making.
