We are recruiting a HGV Driver to join our team in Linwood you will be working a nightshift from 17.00pm to 05:00am based on 4 on and 4 off.
In this role you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards ·
* Collect all waste from allocated customers if on Trade Waste routes
* Compliance with all legislation including driver's hours and highway regulations
* Duty of care to self & others
* Vehicle security including equipment & plant
* Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records
* Provide customers with the highest level of service
* Excellent awareness & understanding of Health & Safety
This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Full Class 1 and 2 driving licence
* Valid DCPC
* Valid Digital Tachograph
* Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
* Willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
* Relevant drivers experience
* Experience operating vehicle and trailers
