Job Description

As the Contract Facilities Manager you will be the contract representative to the customer and responsible for the ISS service team with regards to the delivery of the contract. The role is accountable to the Key Account Portfolio Director and will line manage the integrated facility service team (hard and soft FM). The role will lead on the client relationships, delivery of key life cycle projects and prepare the contract for hand back at the end of the contract life span.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project for hand back to the MoJ, working with the SPV to ensure all contract requirements of hand back are delivered.
• Ensure efficient and effective management of the integrated facility operations including planned and reactive building, engineering systems and assets maintenance, cleaning and other all other soft facility service to required standards and SLAs.
• Working closely with the SPV and building strong working relationships.
• Leadership of contract management team in the delivery and ongoing development of our service solution systems, identifying service improvement opportunities.
• Ensure that healthy and safety (H&S) and all compliance with all health and safety legislation is followed and that there is an embedded safety culture within the team.
• Ensure that all required data and reporting all documents including planned, scheduled and reactive maintenance, H&S and safe systems of work etc. are up to date and reviewed at appropriate times.
• Deliver key technical life cycle projects within expected budgets and timeframes.
• Ensure all services are delivered in a commercially responsible way; own and deliver the contract budgets, financial targets and SLAs.
• Ensure all customer queries / complaints are correctly recorded and responded to through the customer complaints procedure.
• Ensure all relevant periodic reporting and required paperwork and administration is completed on time.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Experience of managing a PFI contract(s) required
• Proven leadership and organisational skills with the ability to develop and drive operational strategy and development plans
• Experience in managing technical infrastructure, assets and engineering systems
• Experience in managing and delivering soft facility services
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and standards
• Stakeholder management skills
• Service and customer orientated, with commercial mindset
• IWFM or equivalent industry membership desirable
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivariant
