We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Risk Commercialisation Product Manager – Unsecured Lending.
Our Unsecured Lending team drives all product lifecycle activities and proposition development for personal loans and credit cards, including customer acquisition, customer journey enhancements, product pricing, retention strategies, existing customer management, marketing, and portfolio management, and has full P&L responsibility for these products. The team supports customers with their lending needs across HSBC, M&S Bank, and First Direct, working closely with colleagues in Banking and Propositions, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations, Global Teams, and Card Schemes (Visa and MasterCard). You'll collaborate with these cross-functional teams to drive product lifecycle activities, enhance customer journeys, and deliver data-driven insights that support our growth strategy.

In this role you'll:
* Contribute to the successful acquisition of UK Personal Loans and Credit Cards, supporting growth targets and business objectives
* Work closely with Credit Risk teams to deliver the growth roadmap, including risk expansion initiatives and test-and-learn strategies. Support the creation and delivery of regular risk for growth management information and action plans for Unsecured Lending leadership
* Take ownership of the Experian Ascend partnership, ensuring strong ROI on tool investment. Drive stakeholder engagement, analysis, and usage to support the growth agenda, and manage the ongoing relationship with Experian
* Track, analyse, and report on Ascend tool activity, monitor product performance, conduct market research, and make recommendations to optimise business outcomes
* Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across Credit Risk, CRM & Analytics, Banking, Propositions, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Finance, Compliance, Legal, IT, and Transformation to deliver strategic initiatives
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Prior experience in Unsecured Lending is essential, with a solid understanding of credit risk policy. A background in credit risk is highly desirable but not mandatory
* Highly proficient in Excel with the abilty to use formulas and pivot tables to analyse and present data effectively
* Able to translate complex data and analysis into compelling insights and actionable recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of audiences
* Proven ability to create, develop, and deliver initiatives and projects that drive incremental revenue and profit for the business
* Demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement and successfully implementing change. Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to align diverse perspectives and achieve results collaboratively
