Summary: Meta is seeking a Music Product Business Development Manager who is passionate about music technology and supporting Meta's goal of building the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible.This role will collaborate with Meta's Product and Engineering teams to align feature development with our music licenses and business strategies and to ensure our products deliver best-in-class experiences for our users, partners, and for Meta. This role will also contribute to Meta's strategy, negotiations, and partnerships with music labels and publishers. Required Skills: Music Product Business Development Manager Responsibilities: 1. Partner with Meta Product, Engineering, Legal and Partnerships teams to ensure a comprehensive music strategy that supports our efforts to connect global communities on Meta's family of apps 2. Understand product goals and provide business guidance to product stakeholders on complex licensing agreements and opportunities to innovate 3. Partner with BD teams to inform music licensing strategy and prioritization 4. Support product launches by socializing features with partnerships teams for feedback, participation and outreach, and driving sign-off from internal leadership 5. Act as a source of insights and knowledge as it pertains to the music ecosystem for teams across Meta Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 6. 6 years in the music industry, including in a product, operations and/or business development or equivalent function 7. BA/BS degree Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 8. Experience in generating insights, analyzing complex problems, and crafting strategy in consulting, banking or the digital entertainment and media sector 9. Deal-making experience in blanket catalog music licensing for global organizations 10. Experience in business development, product, and/or operations at a technology company 11. Experience in digital music product, operations and/or negotiations 12. Music industry experience, including understanding of web and mobile technologies and their impact on content distribution both in U.S. and globally 13. Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment 14.
