Join Sweco as a Graduate Transport Planner in either Edinburgh or Glasgow and contribute to sustainable, active travel solutions.
Responsibilities
* Collect, analyse, and appraise data related to transport systems, including traffic patterns, public transport usage, and demographic information.
* Provide day‑to‑day technical input as part of a team of consultants.
* Produce clear, well‑reasoned, and persuasive reports that effectively interpret data and other evidence, ensuring findings are communicated to stakeholders.
* Ensure output is completed within agreed scope, timescales and budgets.
* Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver project requirements and add value for clients.
* Engage with the Transport Planning Society’s Professional Development Scheme to progress toward Chartered Transport Planning Professional status.
Qualifications
* Completed a degree relevant to transport planning.
* Less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
* Confident in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
* Driven, proactive, and solution‑oriented.
* Can work in the UK without restrictions now or in the future.
