Job Duties
* Manage and organize histology laboratory operations to support diagnostics, research, and teaching activities effectively.
* Prepare and process tissue samples using standard histological techniques while consistently maintaining quality standards.
* Provide technical expertise to support veterinary diagnostic services and laboratory-based research projects efficiently.
* Support teaching laboratories by assisting with practical sessions and providing guidance to students.
* Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and uphold best practices in laboratory management.
* Oversee laboratory workflows to ensure efficient use of resources and the timely delivery of results consistently.
* Assist in training undergraduate and postgraduate students in histological techniques and laboratory procedures.
Job Requirements
* A relevant qualification in biomedical science, histopathology, or a related scientific discipline is required.
* Experience working in a histology or laboratory environment with knowledge of tissue processing techniques.
* Strong organizational skills to manage laboratory operations and multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to provide technical expertise and support across diagnostics, research, and teaching activities.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with students, researchers, and laboratory staff effectively.
