Job title: Facilities Administrator Location: Wonford Hospital, Barrack Road, Exeter, EX2 5DW Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm Trust: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Contract: Temporary for 3 months, with the possibility of extension What you’ll be responsible for * Providing a high‑quality and professional administration service for the Estates and Facilities Management Directorate. You’ll work closely with Service Managers and Department Managers to ensure efficient and accurate administration processes are followed. * Using clear and effective communication at all times, showing tact, empathy, consideration, courtesy and confidentiality. You will adapt your communication style to support users with different needs. * Working as part of the Estates and Facilities Helpdesk team, liaising with internal and external customers and service users. * Building strong working relationships to support good teamwork and collaborative practices, ensuring information is shared appropriately. This role may require evidence of a vocational level 3 qualification, or at least two years of relevant experience. What you’ll learn * A strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS. * Knowledge of the systems used within the trust, helping you carry out your role to a high standard. * A sense of teamwork gained through supporting colleagues across different levels of the organisation. Skills and experience needed * Strong administration experience. * Excellent IT skills. * Good communication and organisational skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * NHS experience (desirable).
