Senior Support Worker – Creative Support
Join Creative Support as a Senior Support Worker in Shipley, Bradford. This full‑time role offers up to £13.45 per hour (from January 1st) and requires active work on a flexible rota, including evenings and weekends.
We are looking for a calm, resourceful, and enthusiastic professional to provide person‑centred care and support to adults with mental health and autism needs. You will help participants enjoy everyday life and a wide range of activities, using positive communication and engagement skills and demonstrating unconditional positive regard.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the management team in leading and supervising Support Workers to implement individualised support plans.
* Ensure consistency and effective communication across the team.
* Follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a behaviour support framework.
* Collaborate with a consistent and mutually supportive team to enhance service provision.
Required qualifications and experience:
* Prior experience supporting adults with mental health (essential).
* Relevant qualification, such as NVQ Diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 or 3 (or willingness to progress to QCF Diploma). Full training is provided.
* Experience in positive behaviour support frameworks and team leadership.
