Graduate Engineer Opportunity - Inverness
The Role
This opportunity would suit a graduate with relevant industry experience ranging from 1 - 4 years, ideally within the commercial, leisure, education, healthcare, and/or energy sectors. You will report directly to the Inverness Director, whilst working alongside a close team of engineers and technicians in Inverness, assisting with project deliverables.
Depending on your experience you can expect to be active on multiple projects with several clients at any given time. You will lead some projects, as appropriate to your experience and abilities, and in other cases support team members in their project delivery. We are very much a team and work in a collaborative fashion. We support each other and are growing together as the Etive business develops. We offer an ICE approved training agreement and a route toward chartered membership of a professional engineering institution.
The Individual Will Be
* Working toward chartership (either ICE or IStructE).
* Experienced in the use of design software - Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds.
* Comfortable with designing in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
* Experienced in preparing calculation packages.
* Experience in completing SER packages for building warrants.
* Friendly, personable, and keen to learn.
* Able to communicate with team members and external stakeholders.
* Proactive and keen to progress their career.
* Ensuring that design is accurately communicated to the technicians and correctly shown on drawings.
* Willing to be responsible for day-to-day running of projects and attend design meetings, site meetings, and carry out site inspections as required.
* Committed to work on projects with consideration to the agreed project budgetary limits and timetables.
Required Qualifications Are
* Bachelor or Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Graduate Membership of either ICE or IStructE.
* Full UK driving license.
* Full rights to work in the UK.

Relocation
Ideally, you will already be established locally, but this role would also suit anyone who is looking to relocate to the Highlands. Subject to discussion a relocation package could be made available and will be discussed in detail during the interview process.
