£ p/h (Overtime rate the same) Enhanced rate, Saturday, Sundays and Bank holidays.

A quick look at the role.
The ADR Class 1 Driver will be responsible for the professional and efficient driver collection, transportation, and disposal of customers’ waste, experience in operating road barrels while adhering to all health and safety, and company procedures.
The role will be reporting directly to the Transport Manager.

1. Professionally driving and operating vehicles as directed by the traffic office and operational managers while ensuring an efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customer waste.
2. Adhering to company processes and procedures, including health and safety procedures at all times, promoting safe practice and reporting near misses.
3. Completing routing vehicle checks in an accurate and timely manner and reporting defects where appropriate.
4. Completing all paperwork including daily time sheets in an accurate and timely manner.
5. Providing breakdown and absence cover for other colleagues when necessary.
6. Attending training courses, mode meetings and toolbox talks when required.
7. Developing and maintaining good relationships with internal colleagues and external customers, providing consistently high levels of customer service at all times.
8. Carrying out other reasonable job-related tasks.
Requirements
Here’s what we require:
9. Valid ADR Qualification.
10. Ability to safely manoeuvre LGV’s into restricted and confined spaces.
11. Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
12. Flexibility to be able to and willing to work away from home on a regular basis, nighting out in the cab where possible.
13. Excellent Customer Service skills with a natural willingness to do a great job.
14. Strong communication skills with all levels including management, team members and internal/external customers.
