A rare opportunity to become Finance Lead within a small, established organisation, working part-time (4 days) and flexibly.
This is a broad, hands-on role offering real autonomy, variety and the chance to make a visible impact. Youll work closely with the CEO, supporting both day-to-day operations and longer-term planning, while helping to strengthen and modernise finance processes.
The Role
* Full ownership of the finance function (AP, AR, payroll)
* Cash flow management and forecasting (key focus)
* Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
* Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
* Budgetary control and oversight of spend, including capital projects
* Establishing and improving financial controls and processes
* Supporting system improvements and efficiencies
* Business partnering with senior stakeholders
* Supervising a part-time bookkeeper
About You
1. Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or strong QBE
2. Experience leading finance in a SME or similar environment
3. Strong cash flow management and commercial awareness
4. Experience implementing or improving finance systems and controls
5. Confident managing budgets and overseeing spend
