Job Summary
AI Services is seeking a proven sales leader to shape and deliver a national sales strategy across Ireland & Northern Ireland. You'll lead and coach a 10+ person field and inside sales team, set KPIs, and drive consistent commercial growth. Salary £55k–£70k + company car, pension, health insurance, and benefits. Perfect for a Sales Director, Head of Sales, or National Sales Manager with a track record of smashing targets.
This is not a product awareness role - we are looking for a results-driven leader who can set sales strategy, coach teams, and deliver measurable growth. You will manage a field sales and inside sales team, driving performance through clear KPIs, structured coaching, and data-led decision making.
Agricultural or animal health experience is an advantage, but not essential. What matters most is the ability to motivate, measure, and multiply the impact of a B2B sales force.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop & implement a national sales strategy covering NI & ROI.
* Use CRM analytics, sales data, and market insights to build a clear playbook.
* Set and monitor KPIs, ensuring teams hit and exceed national sales targets.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ field and inside sales representatives.
* Recruit, onboard, and retain top commercial sales talent.
* Build account management plans to strengthen loyalty and grow revenue.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Product/Science teams to maximise margin and align offers.
Must-Have Requirements
* Proven track record of exceeding national sales targets in a B2B environment.
* 3+ years' experience managing both field and inside sales teams (10+ staff ideal).
* Strong people leadership—able to hire, train, retain, and inspire teams.
* Excellent communication skills, from boardroom presentations to customer meetings.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience in agriculture, animal health, life sciences, or related industries.
* Professional qualification in coaching, mentoring, or leadership.
