St. John's CofE Primary School is part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.
We are a Church of England school that seeks to provide a firm foundation for learning and caring that ensures all children achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a SENDco who:
1. Currently holds the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination or is willing to undertake training to achieve the qualification.
2. Is committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all children
3. Has the ability to lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children
4. Manage and develop programmes of work for pupils who require targeted intervention
5. Can implement a range of strategies engaging and extending all pupils who have identified needs
6. Is able to communicate well with colleagues, parents and children
7. Is able to coordinate liaisons between school staff, parents and outside agencies
8. Has the ability to work under pressure with calmness and a sense of humour.
