Job Overview
An extremely busy principal/main contractor, about to relocate to Cumbernauld, with sites throughout Central Scotland are seeking an experienced and reliable office assistant to join their friendly team. The company undertakes a variety of refurbishment projects including commercial, residential and industrial.
Working as part of a small team within an open plan office, you will provide the operations department with all basic administrative support.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks
* Answering telephone calls.
* Booking jobs into a computerised system.
* Receiving deliveries.
* Material sourcing/buying for projects.
* Updating labour schedules, and general administrative work as directed.
* The position may also involve lone office working from time to time.

* Be capable of working with minimal oversight but must be able to follow directions closely.
* Possess attention to detail and take pride in delivering quality work.
* Be a good communicator in person and on the telephone.
* Be proficient in the use of MS office.

* Possess confidence in lone working,
* Possess a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required
* A background in construction and buying would be helpful but is not essential as training will be given for the role.
