But data and technology is only half of the package. We need great people to fuel the engine. And thats where you come in Job description: Stats Perform is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. This is a fulltime position to be based in one of our hybrid office locations. In this role, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team, you will help drive the development and adoption of advanced sport metrics, primarily in football. The Data Analyst team plays a key role in helping make new insights accessible to fans and clients by creating applications, data reports, visualizations, and content across multiple sports. Responsibilities: Respond to daily ad-hoc data requests from internal teams and clients. Design compelling data visualizations for use in the media. Educate internal and external teams on new Stats Perform outputs. Provide critical feedback to the AI team as the first users of their models. Develop tools (e.g., Shiny, Flask) to enhance access to Stats Performs AI models. Conduct ad-hoc analysis projects for media and professional sports clients. Required profile: Required Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously. Experience with data analysis and presenting insights through visualizations. Proficiency in a coding language (preferably Python and/or R). Experience using football data, either professionally or as a hobby. Ability to showcase existing work with sports data (e.g., code repo or social media). An in-depth understanding of football and its applications in data-driven analysis. Desired Qualifications: Experience working at a professional sports club or in the sports data industry. Experience querying databases (e.g., SQL) Experience working with AWS technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift) Experience automating code execution (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Lambdas) Ability to speak multiple languages.
