About the role:
Our mission is to drive meaningful change, drive innovation, and elevate industries through world-class events. As Head of Operations, you play a critical role in ensuring our events set the benchmark for excellence.By leading our small but growing operations team, managing logistics, and driving supplier and venue relationships, you guarantee seamless event delivery that meets the highest industry standards. Your focus on efficiency, and quality will directly impact our reputation and attendee experience.
With a strategic approach to operational management, this role will optimise processes, uphold compliance, and ensure internal stakeholders are aligned on key performance goals. Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering our world-class events that not only run flawlessly but also create lasting value and impact for the sectors we serve.
What can you expect from the day to day?
* Personally deliver a small number of events throughout the year
* Ensure high quality events within agreed budget and deadlines
* Project planning and scheduling
* Define and implement SLAs for both internal and external stakeholders
* Manage venue contracts, negotiations, and relationships
* Maintain high operational standards and quality control
* Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics
* Collaborate with internal teams to align on event objectives
* Solve operational challenges efficiently and proactively
* Drive cost efficiency while maintaining exceptional delivery
* Oversee employee training related to onsite delivery
* Ensure compliance with onsite health and safety regulation
