Job Description
A friendly, well-organised Community Centre Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy community centre. This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a similar position and is confident managing a wide range of tasks independently. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with time split between working from home and working on-site at the centre.
The position would suit an individual who enjoys varied work, thrives in a community-focused environment, and has a genuine interest in supporting local activities and services.
There is also potential for future development, particularly for someone working towards a Parish Clerk qualification or Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) status, as guidance and mentoring can be provided.
What we need from you:
1. Experience in managing a community building or similar facility
2. Good administrative and organisational skills
3. Be able to attend occasional evening meetings and community events (with notice)
4. Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of team members
5. Confident in using IT (MS Office, email and basic spreadsheets)
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
