Transport Supervisor required to lead a busy lates shift (2-10) operation in Maidstone for a leading UK contract in the health care industry. You will be working closely with the Transport Manager in what is best described as a hands-on role working as part of a small office team you will be looking after circa 20 drivers and a fleet made up mostly of class 2 vehicles. You will be completing all transport based duties including tacho management, driver de briefs and some route planning amongst others duties. You will also be responsible for supporting and developing the team around you. This is a really well set up operation with a good work life balance for all staff and development opportunities are always on offer. We are seeking an experienced candidate with strong front line experience within transport/ logistics operations. We are keen to speak with those already at transport supervisor level as well as those ready to step up into management from Clerk / planner level.
