Overview

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Paediatric Physiotherapy team based in the Chichester Child Development Centre for Full time hours.

The post holder would manage a caseload of paediatric patients presenting with a range of neurological, neurodevelopmental, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. This role will have a mixed caseload of primarily neuro and secondary MSK patients.

The post holder should ideally have experience in the assessment and treatment of children and young people with a range of neurodevelopmental, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

What we offer

We offer regular in-service training, peer supervision and clinical support. There are dedicated paediatric special interest groups and the Paediatric Physiotherapy service is supported by a Countywide Professional Lead. The Paediatric Physiotherapy service aims to provide expert assessment, treatment and advice to children and young people between 0 and 19 years of age. We work to educate and support families, carers and other healthcare professionals including school and early years settings staff. Support will also be given, when necessary, to enable the seamless transition of young people into adult services.

You will be an effective team player who is flexible, enthusiastic and focused on the delivery of excellent quality patient care to the young people in the locality and its surrounding area. Motivation to assist and support service development is essential. Excellent time management skills are required in order to manage this busy and fast-paced caseload. Service delivery is primarily based at the Weshampnett Centre, but there will also be a need to deliver care in patients\' homes, schools and the wider community.

You will need to be a car owner and driver, with full UK license. You will need to have current HCPC registration.
