Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sussex Cricket as a Sponsorship and Hospitality Manager, covering maternity leave for a 6-12 month period. This role sits within the Commercial Department, reporting to the Director of Growth.
The Sponsorship and Hospitality Manager role is a varied position, with responsibilities including, but not limited to; the relationship management of our existing sponsor portfolio, delivering contracted rights accrued by each sponsor; the organisation and event management of our premium networking group, The Boundary Club; dealing with inbound enquiries and subsequent selling of matchday hospitality and sponsorship packages; and general administrative support as required.
There is also an opportunity for growth within the role to include a more active involvement in the sales process, and to attend networking events across the county, should the successful candidate be interested in doing so.
We are looking for a team-player who is able to juggle multiple projects at once, with the support of the wider Commercial Department. Previous sponsorship and hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential.
The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who has a keen eye for detail and strong administrative abilities. Excellent communications skills, in both written accuracy and verbal articulation, are 'a must' for this role.
