Oracle Fusion SaaS Technical Support Engineer
Location: Manchester, England, United Kingdom
This role is part of Oracle's Customer Success Services (CSS) team, supporting over 6,000 companies worldwide. The Fusion SaaS Technical Support Engineer will provide post‑sales support and technical solutions to UK government and commercial clients, ensuring high quality, secure, and optimized Oracle Fusion SaaS environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver post‑sales support and solutions, acting as the primary point of contact for customers.
* Resolve technical and functional customer issues, leveraging knowledge of Fusion SaaS and PaaS products.
* Collaborate with support, product management, and cross‑functional teams to provide insight on escalated issues.
* Use automated tools for diagnosis, documentation, and resolution of complex customer problems.
* Assist customers with lifecycle management, including release management and performance tuning.
* Conduct on‑site visits when required, providing strategic guidance and best‑practice recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
* 3–5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion SaaS and PaaS applications, databases, OBIEE, OTBI, BIP.
* Proficiency in Java, C++, Groovy, PL/SQL or comparable languages.
* Hands‑on experience with Oracle SaaS HCM and other Fusion products (e.g., OIC, EPM, SCM, PPM, Payroll).
* Experience providing technical support, configuration, and extension services to UK government clients.
* Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
* Demonstrated self‑initiative and proactive problem‑solving.
Eligibility & Clearance
* Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance (SC). Apply only when requested by Oracle Security Admin.
* British Nationality required.
* Minimum five years UK residency to meet UK Security Vetting requirements.
