Compliance and Business Development Manager

Job Description – Bookkeeping & Administrative Assistant (16 hours per week)

About Us

We are an environmental company specialising in peatland restoration. Our office is based in Inverness, and we are looking for a dedicated General Administrator to support our operations.

Role Overview

The role includes general administrative duties, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing payroll and assisting with bookkeeping tasks
* Managing invoices and expense tracking
* Assisting with document preparation and record-keeping
* Supporting the team with general office tasks as needed

Requirements

* Previous experience in an administrative and bookkeeping role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with payroll processing
* Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* 16 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
* Based at our Inverness office
