Nursery Nurse
Required From September 2025
Surrey Job Family PS6 FTE Salary £29,697–31,848. Pro Rata for 30.5 hours PW £21,089–£22,617
Additional hours maybe available to cover breakfast and after school provision if required.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm, with half an hour for lunch,
Wednesday, 8:30am – 3:30pm with half an hour for lunch.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to work as part of our brand-new nursery team.
Our new Teacher led Nursery opened in September 2024 - accepting children from the age of 2 years. We have creative a beautiful inspiring space and have access to fantastic primary school facilities which includes a forest school and vibrant school garden.
To be considered for this position, you will need to:
1. Hold a relevant qualification such as NVQ level 2/3 in Early Years childcare, or equivalent
2. Have experience of working within a nursery setting
3. Have a positive, hardworking and "can do" attitude
4. Have sound experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); and are able to contribute to planning, observations and reports
5. Possess a high level of written and spoken English
6. Provide the children with a safe, secure environment
7. Operate a key-person system and liaise with parents/carers and senior staff
8. Contribute to planning, observations and reports

A Term time contract awaits successful applicants, working 38 weeks per year with additional in-service training days (up to three per year) paid as overtime.
