Head of Compliance
Newark – Full-time – Permanent – Salary: c£42k
Our well-established Newark client is looking for a passionate professional to head up Compliance for the company owning end to end regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the first contact for Health and Safety and Compliance within the company.
* Manage the legal compliance for the transport operation.
* Write and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
* Driving digital compliance systems and continuous documentation improvements.
* Maintain vehicle and drivers’ legal compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Head of Compliance role candidates must have proven experience in compliance and a background in logistics, transport, or distribution arenas.
Skills
Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills are essential, as is a high attention to detail with a pragmatic, solutions focused mindset.
Professional Qualifications
Professional qualifications such as CPC, NEBOSH, IOSH would be helpful but are not essential.
