Job Description
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the payroll function for the entire group
Overseeing all payroll processes including RTI, PAYE, NI, auto-enrolment and benefits administration
Managing relationships with HMRC and external stakeholders
Ensuring timely production of all statutory payroll documents (e.g., P11Ds, P60s)
Reviewing and enhancing payroll systems and controls (ideally with Dayforce experience)
Leading and mentoring the payroll team
Acting as the internal expert on all payroll-related matters
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience leading a payroll function, ideally in a multi-entity/group environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Experience with Dayforce (Ceridian) is highly advantageous
Ability to work collaboratively with Finance, HR and external agencies
CIPP qualification or equivalent is desirable
