Accounts Assistant

My client expanding rapidly and are in search of an Accounts Assistant to support our growth and progress within the company. Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management packs.
* Assist in the preparation and review of VAT returns.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for businesses.
* Assist in the preparation of accruals and prepayments schedules.
* Review account queries from restaurant managers and resolve issues.
* Assist with payroll runs.
* Perform weekly bank reconciliations.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure payments are made within agreed timescales and cash constraints.
* Conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Accountant.
* AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
* Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 50 preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
