Job details
* Employment type: Full-time
* Working hours: 40 hours per week minimum, contract: permanent
* Days of work: Monday to Friday
* Start window: 12:00 – 21:00
* Location: Hub 4 Hinckley - Logix Road, Hinckley LE10 3BQ
Key responsibilities
* Operate state-of-the-art heavy goods vehicles to transport pallet loads to HGV-compatible locations.
* Adhere to predetermined shift patterns to ensure timely and consistent service delivery.
* Undertake a minimum of four nights per week away from base, using secure company locations for overnight stays.
* Maintain professionalism while representing DPD during all customer interactions.
* Efficiently manage a designated regional territory surrounding the base depot.
* Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance as required.
* Accurately complete documentation and digital records for deliveries and collections.
* Proactively communicate with dispatch and management to address operational challenges or delays.

Qualifications
* Valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence (mandatory).
* Minimum of 12 months verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
* Valid UK Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card.
* Valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
