Litigation Solicitor – Aletta Shaw Solicitors
Join our Civil Litigation department as an experienced Litigation Solicitor. Work from our Petts Wood or Bexleyheath office, with up to 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters.
* Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients.
* Draft pleadings, correspondence, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Conduct legal research and prepare court documents.
* Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
* Accurately record all time, chargeable and non‑chargeable.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate file management.
* Contribute to business development & networking where required.
Requirements
* 4+ years PQE.
* Independent management of a busy caseload and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
* Strong litigation knowledge.
* Excellent client care skills and an empathetic approach to client needs.
* Business acumen.
* Proactive and self‑motivated.
* Cooperative and supportive approach to working with colleagues.
