A fabulous opportunity for an experienced Children's Home Manager, due to the retirement of the current Registered Manager. Our 5-bed EBD home is currently rated 'Outstanding' with Ofsted and supports 5 young ladies. Our specialist area for this home is CSE, and we have had great success with long-term placements.
This role offers the benefit of working alongside the retiring Manager for a handover, ensuring a full induction and smooth transition. You will gain valuable insights from the current manager about the home, the role, and the children.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the daily operations of a busy, 5-bed residential home, ensuring high standards of care.
2. Supervise, mentor, and support the team, including ongoing training and professional development.
3. Oversee the home's budget and expenditure.
4. Develop and implement bespoke, child-centered care plans.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, Keys Standards, policies, and procedures.
6. Maintain an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
7. Promote a positive, trauma-informed workplace culture.
8. Manage referrals, liaise with local authorities, and maintain relationships with external partners.
9. Maintain accurate records and provide reports to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management of Residential Care.
* Extensive experience in managing young people's residential care.
* Understanding of Ofsted standards and experience leading inspections.
* Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care models and practice.
* Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication.
* Ability to collaborate with professionals and families.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
