About this Role As a National Sales Manager, also known as a Senior Business Development Lead or Sales Leader, you will play a key role in growing Dawsongroup Energy Solutions presence across the diesel generator and power solutions market, based at our Avonmouth branch. This role is focused on building long term value through generator hire, supporting customers with resilient, flexible energy solutions across the UK. Leading national business development activity within the diesel generator and wider energy hire market. Identifying new opportunities, shape solutions, and converting demand into sustainable revenue. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, balancing technical understanding with commercial insight. Working closely with internal operations, marketing, and wider Dawsongroup businesses. Providing accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market insight to senior leadership About You You may be an experienced National Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or senior sales professional within energy or asset rental, looking for a role with genuine influence. You combine commercial drive with the ability to build credible, long term relationships. Proven experience in business development within power generation, energy hire, or asset rental. Strong understanding of diesel generators, including specifications, applications, and site use, is advantageous. Confident communicator and negotiator, comfortable engaging at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and customer data. Self motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously at a national level. Experience or exposure to renewable energy solutions alongside traditional power.
