Job Responsibilities:
1. During Detail Engineering, perform Piping Stress Analysis of high temperature piping systems using a combination of practical experience and commercially available software.
2. Implement project specifications.
3. Work as part of a team to ensure Isometrics are being checked in a timely manner
4. Ensure a consistent and compliant approach to project execution.
5. FEA Analysis of specialist piping components.
6. Analysis of new and existing piping systems on Greenfield and Brownfield Projects.
7. Work individually or as part of a team in the home office and abroad.
8. Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
9. Committed to multi-centre project execution.
10. Adhere to KBR WAY engineering standards and procedures as well as provide input to their development and enhancement.
Skills / Experience:
Essential
11. Knowledge of applicable industry standards (ASME B31.3, API, BS and EN Standards).
12. Experience on large EPC and Brownfield projects
13. Experienced in using commercially available piping stress analysis software (Caesar II)
14. Working knowledge of PED
15. Experienced in developing and implementing project procedures.
16. Vibration mitigation of piping systems.
17. Forward thinking and happy to challenge the way we work and contribute the development of the KBR WAY.
18. Keen to knowledge share with Engineers located in Leatherhead and in other offices.
19. Good communication skills.
Qualifications:
20. Mechanical Engineering Degree
21. Chartered Engineer Status (desirable)
