Our client has been trading for over 5 decades, they are a widely recognised and established Supermarket/Cash and Carry retailer to the trade and public. You will be working within the refurbished store in Nechells. Our client are renowned for its exceptional standards and looking for a Warehouse Supervior to be part of their dynamic, growing team.
You will be required to work closely with the shop floor team including managers to support the daily running of the Warehouse. You will also be required to review current working methods and propose new procedures that benefit the business.
Being part of the team, you will provide support and help maintain and improve the levels of customer service throughout the store. You will also be required to provide assistance in the supervision of all staff while maintaining the standards of the Warehouse.
Paying: £14.08 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Between the hours of 07:00am-18:15pm - 40 hours a week plus overtime. Working 5 days out of 7. Sunday hours will be between 9.00am – 17.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
FLT experience is required
Leading and overseeing a team of warehouse staff
Provide excellent leadership to the team and the best possible customer service/experience
Ensure the personal appearance of staff is in line with company guidelines
Providing assistance with administrative tasks and warehouse duties as necessary.
Handling products with precision and ensuring proper placement in designated areas.
Facilitating daily team meetings to ensure alignment and effectiveness in operations.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Required:
Supervisor experience would be advantageous
FLT experience
Excellent Time Management skills
IT skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
