A vibrant primary school in Preston is looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs. The school is seeking someone with experience or transferrable skills in managing challenging behaviour and building positive, trusting relationships.
Your role will involve supporting the pupil throughout the school day, helping them access learning, develop coping strategies and maintain focus. You will work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to implement personalised plans and behaviour strategies.
This position is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in pastoral support, youth work, care settings or behaviour mentoring who are passionate about helping children succeed.
